It Was Made From Ancient Times To Decorate The Houses, Whether By Hanging Them On The Walls Of The Rooms Or On The Floor, And If Decorating The Reception Rooms For Guests With Carpets Is Still To This Day, It Was Characterized By Its Manufacture , As Its Industry Requires Tightening Of Its Strings With Great Precision And Accuracy In Order For Its Maker To Obtain Symbols And Traditional Geometric Figures That Distinguish Each "Carpet" From The Other. In View Of The Importance Of The Carpet Industry, Our Topic Of Handicrafts And Traditional Industries In The Tiaret Region Came As A “Carpet Industry As A Model”, In Order To Shed Light On The Reality Of This Craft And The Extent Of Its Spread In The Region. Also, We Will Try To Give An Understanding Of Carpet And Its Development Throughout History, And Since We Are Talking About Carpet In The Tiaret Region, We Will Mention The Peculiarities Of Carpet Of The Cascade Palace And The Stages Of Its Completion, And Like Any Craft Of Crafts, The Carpet Industry Is Also Facing Many Obstacles And Difficulties In Its Manufacture, So We Will Present A Group Of Solutions That Can Promote The Industry In The Tiaret Region And Its Development To Become A Modern Carpet Compete. The Aim Of This Study Is To Try To Give A Comprehensive Picture Of The Reality Of This Industry In The Tiaret Region And The Most Important Challenges It Faces.
