Abstract

Because the traditional task of philosophy is criticism, and Hegel’s ideal philosophy is a mental philosophy based on dialectical thinking, and because “Herbert Marcuse” acknowledges that the motive for writing his book “Mind and Revolution” was to revive a mental skill of “critical thinking”; That is, the ability to think negatively. Besides all this, he affirms the truth’s reluctance only in the context of controversial thinking reflecting the overall view of the facts, where the self is connected to the subject and the value meets the reality. And when Hegel’s thinking was basically negative; then Marcuse sought to restore philosophy to its natural (critical) mission is done by reviving the skill of critical thinking. It tends to build on Hegel’s philosophy. This study aims to highlight how Marquise justified Hegel’s revolutionary philosophy and the importance of Hegel’s argumentative logic as negative critical thinking and as a revolution over absurd reality

.Key words: critical thinking, Hegel’s dialectic, Robbery, positivism, Marcuse.
